Enclosed courtyard villa, bringing tropical resort vibes into daily living spaces

Ground Floor Facade of the Building | Cantilevered Floor Slabs Frame the Boundary of the Swimming Pool Courtyard

The buildings enclose an inward courtyard free from wind disturbance. Track spotlights are pre-embedded in the cast-in-place fair-faced concrete ceiling, and complete sets of solid wood and rattan leisure sofas are placed scattered throughout the space.

This project is a modern single-family private residence with Southeast Asian design aesthetics, featuring exposed concrete, textured micro-cement walls and carbonized solid wood as its core materials. The L-shaped building mass encloses an inward-facing private courtyard. A long mirror-surface swimming pool links the outdoor lounge area and reception pergola, while native tropical foliage softens the hard structural edges of the building.
