Vertical water feature wall with cascading water sets a tranquil tone for the courtyard with the soft sound of flowing water

A distinctive pergola is designed in the form of unfurled flower petals, with linear light strips embedded along the structural contours. Multiple scattered reception zones are laid out inside the pergola. A curved still water feature on the outer side stretches alongside the outline of the structure, while spherical sculpted shrubs and natural boulders refine the subtle landscape details of the surrounding area.

The site recedes inward to form a secluded space, with curved upholstered sofas enclosing a central fire pit. Custom floor paving printed with floral and leaf patterns enhances the recognizability of this focal spot. The sprawling branches of mature native trees create a natural overhead canopy, while large landscape boulders mark the boundaries of the venue.

Taking oriental freehand landscape painting as its core design concept, this project creates an elegant and luxurious private courtyard by integrating modern light luxury hardscape craftsmanship. Leveraging the terrain elevation differences, the site features multiple water scenes including cascading waterfalls and mirror-like winding waterways, while natural landscape stone placements replicate the texture of mountain rocks. Curved sunken booths, irregular artistic pergolas and elevated outdoor sofas are adopted to form diverse outdoor reception spaces.
